Fatfur Gala Summer '26: Whalewatchin and fit spotting!

For those who don't know! The Fatfur Gala is a lil thing that got started over on Bsky a while back, it's a cute community-wide event where artists get together and celebrate fat bodies and fashion, creating unique looks based on whatever the Gala's theme is for the event! (Previous themes Include Streetwear and Fantasy fits)
This year's Gala is set to run on on the 26th of June, and it's going for a "Summer Days" theme! It's a bit preemptive to be making a thread but I though having a space to show off any favorite favorite fits we find/discuss the theme would be nice!
And hey, while we're waiting for the festivities to kick off, got any beach-y fits of your critters *you* wanna show off? Maybe a summer trope in fatfur you really like n wanna talk about? Now's the best place to share, beheh!

Cuuuute, I'm always a sucker for a classic swimsuit!
As for me, It's not exactly made bespoke for the event, but this outfit I got Clem in has always screamed "Summer" to me - Bright 'n vibrant color, lots of air-y frills for the breeze, a lovely sunhat, it's really seemed like a lovely look for a boardwalk cafe binge!

Oh, I've actually got a little project for this Gala event sketched up, but I don't know if I want to share it right now. I do wanna finish it up by the deadline at least, I mainly need to figure out some outfit colors and maybe a little background for it.

a// ohh, i've been hearing a little bit about that and wasn't ever sure what it actually is. maybe if there's a winter one i could join in on the fun. as for outfits, i can't deny an affinity for swimsuits.

I think they want to hold them a bit more scheduled/frequently, the bsky bio of the official acct mentions being "Biannual" which reads to me as twice a year!
As for the pics, you're legit always the first critter I think of whenever I see catboots art, you've very much become the model for them in my head, beheh
and GOSH that boot one destroys me, I adore how pillow and just, sprawling your critter is there,, and as always Boot's expression game is top notch... you're really bringing out the best in that swimsuit, imo!

a// hehehehehee thank youuuu :3 i'm real lucky i managed to get a comm from boot before they stopped doin that. it's a favourite. also that catboots one i didn't even ask for the swimsuit to be ripped they just went in for the kill immediately

OOOOHHHHH this is so cute,,, Goshgoshgosh, love the floral shirts, Especially swooning over your skulldragon's fit.... Those trunks are struggling to contain all that bulk in the most lovely way!

I also wanna shout out! Yellow Hellion's work for the Gala this year, ADORE the fashion tastes on display, they're really sleek while still feeling breezy, and really loving on fat bodies!
