We've made this space because we're tired of the state of mainstream social media. Be it the likes of Bluesky, Discord, or (god forbid) Twitter, it's difficult to get noticed, impossible to keep up with, and the boot of moderation increasingly considers the concept of round cartoon animal people to be somehow too pornographic to be allowed.
Well we're sick of it. We wanted a place where there's no algorithms to chase, that supports long-form and asynchronous conversation, and lets us move at our own (often quite sluggish) pace, so we created one!
