Hello lovely critters! I'm a late-30s self-described punk from the Pacific Northwest! I’m also they/them nonbinary. (Specifically agender if you really wanna get granular about it.)
Outside of the key interest this board centers around, I also draw and write, like, non-fat-centric things; I’m also a bit of what modern parlance calls a “Maker” (mostly pins, stickers, and patches...currently only in-person at small shows but I’ll have a website eventually!) I also basically can’t stop myself from worldbuilding and characterbuilding and devote an inordinate amount of time to it!
My other interests/fields of knowledge include but are not limited to: coffee, snack food news, comics history, aesthetic clothing modification, and various bits of punk philosophy/sociology and queer intersectionality! I’m also a huge lover of roller derby (if you’ve ever been curious about it, feel free to ask questions! I love bringing people into even just a better understanding of it!). That there is my SPORT. (Go Throttle Rockets!)
INSIDE of the key interest this board centers around, well, that’s a whole complicated chestnut because people are complicated! I have a lot of fatfur OCs, both of the “blatant kink character” variety and of the “literally just a character who is fat” variety. (And a few who occupy a nebulous space in between!) I’ve found fat body forms aesthetically pleasing for basically my whole actual life, and after a too-long period of beating myself up about it I arrived at where I am now—as someone heavily (ha) involved in the sociopolitics of fat liberation/normalization/discrimination-combating in the real world, who also has some kinks and interests strongly adjacent to fat as a theme in the drawn and written world.
Oh! I should probably also meow about my primary sona a tiny bit; they’re a cyborg sphynx cat with a screen for a face named Riot. Refsheet here:
I’ve been exploring the possibility that I’m a plural system (it’s a little uncertain/complicated) but I may as well at least briefly list the other facets. (I’ll be the one fronting 98% of the time so don’t worry about addressing ‘em, they’re more “personifications of aspects of me” than they are alters as those are generally understood, and only take the wheel under pretty extreme duress.) They are: Fran (she/her, goat, functionally my shoulder angel), Holly (she/they/it, cyborg hyena, functionally my shoulder devil), and Zee (they/them, cowlike alien, my sense of pleasure and hedonistic joy/desire).
Glad to be here! As an Official Internet Old(tm) and someone who makes a face at nearly all modern social media, I’ve really, really missed Web 1.0 style spaces like this.
