The Backrooms

I haven't seen it yet (no spoilers!) but I'm really looking forward to checking it out as I've heard it's pretty good! It's super awesome to see independent film makers, YouTubers and the like take over in the box office and succeed.

I have yet to see it myself, but if any indie horror creator deserved a shot at making a film, it's deffo Kane Parsons, I was really impressed by the direction he had on his youtube backrooms series and I can't wait to see what he's been cookin...

I had a friend talk to me about it 2 days ago at this point and they said how fantastic it was, It left quite an impression on them and highly recommend it but I'm gonna see it at some point

Personally I greatly enjoyed the backrooms! As far as the horror aspect goes, I didn't think it was that scary; however, what the story did explore was genuinely interesting and fun to watch!

There are rumors of a second movie happening, which I kinda hope doesn't happen. The first movie was such a perfect capsule of the backrooms concept that I feel expounding on it further would dilute the story.

I saw it last night and I absolutely LOVED it!!! I definitely recommend anyone go watch the miniseries Kane Parsons made on YT and if you enjoy it you will love the movie! The only thing I was a little iffy about was how quickly the ending felt in contrast to the rest of the movie, but it did do a great job at answering questions throughout with subtle clues strewn about!
